The Scientific and Student Affairs Board consists of:

 1- The institute’s Vice-Dean. Chairman

2. Heads of departments at the Institute. Members

3- A representative of the teachers' union is appointed by the executive office of the union among the faculty members of the institute. Member

4- A representative of the students of the Institute, is appointed by the administrative office of the National Union of Syrian Students. Member

Functions of the Scientific and Student Affairs Board

The Board of Scientific and Student Affairs exercises all the functions exercised by the Board of Scientific Affairs and the Board of Student Affairs provided in the Law of Organizing Universities No. (1) of 1975 and its executive regulations issued by Decree No. (2059) of 1982 and their amendments.
